What is menumentos?
A free audio guide for walking Spanish cities, like a museum audio guide but out in the street. Follow a guided route or wander freely, and the app tells you the story of the places you pass.
How much does it cost?
Nothing: menumentos is free. Download it and start walking.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Download the city pack and listen to the stories without using mobile data, even abroad.
Which languages is it in?
Spanish, English, French, German and Simplified Chinese.
Which cities?
We are starting with Albacete and Madrid.
What happens to my location?
It stays on your phone. The app uses your position to know when to alert you, but your exact location never leaves your phone.
Can I contribute my own stories?
Yes. With an account you can suggest a place, a route or an anecdote. Our team reviews every suggestion, and what gets published carries the name you choose.
Can I tell stories from my home town?
Yes, from any corner of Spain: the spot only the locals know, your Sunday walk or the anecdote your grandmother used to tell. Our team reviews every contribution before it is published.
